Dark Iris ?3 — Fine Art

Dark Iris 3 by Georgia OKeeffe puts a dark flower form against a soft background. The eye reads the shape first and the colour second, with the petal edges drawn in clear lines. Across the room the flower reads as one dark mass, and up close the pencil marks on the edges show through.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A dark wood frame sits close to the dark flower and gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. The matte paper keeps the colour flat and does not shine under a lamp.

It works well on a hallway wall under a steady light. You see the flower form from the doorway and the thin line work when you stop near the frame.
