David Hockney by David Hockney — Fine Art

David Hockney shows a bright landscape with clean lines and flat colour shapes. The picture usually uses bold blues, yellows and greens to build a simple scene with sunlit planes and sharp edges. The artist often painted this kind of clear outdoor view with a calm, direct eye.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger on the back. It goes straight onto a nail or screw, so the surface sits flat against the wall and the flat colour shapes stay even under the lamp. You do not need a separate frame.

It fits well on a bedroom wall near the bed. From the pillow you notice the blue sky band and the green ground plane, and the clean edges stay readable even in the morning light.
