David Hockney by David Hockney — Fine Art

A portrait of David Hockney turns up in this fine art piece. The face sits at the centre with a plain background behind it. Lines around the eyes and mouth are steady and clear. Hockney has painted portraits and pool scenes for many years, and this one belongs with that work.

You get a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The paper is matte, so the flat tones stay even and there is no shine under a lamp. When the ready to hang option is used, the whole thing arrives assembled.

In a bedroom, you notice the steady lines of the face from the bed. By the door the whole shape is clear. The picture stays still on the nightstand.
