David Hockney by David Hockney — Fine Art

David Hockney by David Hockney presents bright flat colour blocks laid next to one another. A blue band sits beside a yellow one, with a simple outlined shape resting in the middle. The picture reads as separate colour planes rather than a single scene.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need to find a separate frame. The surface stays smooth under the hanger so the edges line up cleanly on the wall.

In a bedroom landing wall with pale plaster, the separate colour bands read clearly from the stairs. The outlined shape holds a small shadow in the corner of the picture.
