Desert — Framed Poster

In the arid landscape of Mary Fedden's Desert, a vibrant tableau unfolds. This 1989 work captures the essence of a barren yet lively environment through a unique arrangement of objects and colors.

The composition is a symphony of geometric and organic forms, with a palette dominated by warm hues of ochre, burnt sienna, and golden yellows, punctuated by cool accents of blue and green. The line quality varies, with sharp, precise edges contrasting against softer, more fluid contours. The spatial arrangement draws the eye across the scene, creating a sense of depth and movement.
