Desert Pass - 1976 shows a broad painted field with soft colour edges moving across the sheet. The brushwork sits in thin layers, and the painted bands shift in pressure from one side to the other.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the washed colour from shining under a lamp, so the painted bands read as flat shapes rather than glossy spots. You can see the small variations in the brush marks without glare getting in the way.

Above a dining table, the broad painted field holds the view from the doorway. From the chair you notice the soft colour edges and the way the paint thins near the edge of the sheet.
