Desk Calendar 1962 — Fine Art

Desk Calendar 1962 shows a desk calendar drawn with bold flat colours and thick black outlines. Red and blue sit beside cream and white, so the shapes stay clear without blending. The year in the title anchors the scene to a mid century office moment. A pop art style keeps the picture direct and graphic.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The white frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. The white finish sits apart from the red and blue and lets the flat colour blocks hold the room together.

It works on a landing wall between the stairs and the kitchen. From there you notice the black outlines first, then the cream ground as you pass by.
