Dollar Sign — Fine Art

Dollar Sign shows a bold dollar symbol placed on a plain background. The letter forms stand out in black against a flat tone. Andy Warhol made this image as part of his screenprint work, using repeated shapes and bright flat colour. The mark repeats the idea of money in a simple graphic way. This fine art print sits inside a frame with a back panel.

The frame holds the sheet flat and keeps the edges neat. The matte paper keeps the black lines sharp and stops shine under a lamp. The back panel adds stiffness so the sheet does not curl.

It sits above a desk in a study. From the chair you see the dark symbol first, then the plain ground around it. The bright sign reads clearly from that distance.
