Drawing Based Upon the Breath

Drawing Based Upon the Breath by Allan Kaprow uses simple marks on paper. The work belongs to the post war American scene where artists tested action and everyday materials. Ink lines and soft washes sit on the page in a loose arrangement.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte surface keeps the ink tones even when the light shifts in a hallway.

It fits above a desk near the kitchen where the morning light hits the wall. From the workspace you see the broad ink shapes first, then the thinner pencil traces as you stand nearer.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
