Drink Cup

Drink Cup - 1972 shows a simple drink cup studied with thick paint. Wayne Thiebaud built the shape with broad strokes and a warm range of tones. The subject is plain, the handling is careful. The paint lays down in layers that hold their own weight.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The sheet arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte surface keeps the warm tones soft under a lamp and the cup reads without glare.
