East River from the Thirtieth Story of the Shelton Hotel — Fine Art

East River from the Thirtieth Story of the Shelton Hotel shows a city waterway seen above the rooftops. Buildings rise on one side and the river runs straight through the middle.

The view is calm and measured, with clear shapes against a bright ground. A fine art print keeps the painted forms sharp and the flat tones even on a matte surface.

The frame follows the room, so a dark finish sits well on a pale wall or a light finish on wood beside furniture. On a dining room wall by a warm lamp, the river line catches the eye first, then the small building blocks settle in.
