Edisviken

Edisviken - 1937 shows a small boat resting in a quiet cove. The water stays calm and the land rises softly at the edge. Tove Jansson painted the scene with careful shapes and muted tones. The drawing keeps its simple mood.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The white frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. It keeps the pale water and the soft shore from mixing into the room. You see the picture first, then the frame edge.

It fits on the wall beside a kitchen sink. From the counter you notice the small boat and the still water while you wash dishes.
