About this work

Equipoise

Equipoise by Hans Hofmann sets a balance of painted marks across the sheet. The surface holds pushed colour fields that press against one another. A steady weight runs through the composition.

This fine art print comes set in a frame with a back panel. The matte paper holds the colour without a shine, so the pushed fields stay soft under indoor light.

It works on a hallway wall beside a coat stand. From the landing you see the broad colour blocks, and near the frame you notice the small painted edges.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.
Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
