Esfera Theospacio 1989 — Fine Art

Esfera Theospacio 1989 shows layers of thin lines crossing each other in a woven pattern. Jesus Rafael Soto made his work with repeated marks that shift as you move past them. The black and white lines leave small gaps between them, so the picture changes when the light moves across it.

This fine art print arrives with a metal hanger already fitted to the back. You place it straight onto a nail or screw. The matte surface keeps the grey lines soft and stops a bright reflection on the top part of the image.

It sits well on a narrow wall in a study, above a desk where papers stack up. From the door you notice the crossing lines first, and when you lean in you see the small spaces between each one.
