A grid of rusted wire squares tilts like a broken mirror. Espejo De Sacrista, Rivera’s Art Informel masterwork, refuses stillness.
The metal mesh is stretched, punctured, and layered so each square casts a different shadow. Some edges curl; others fray into loose threads. The ochre patina suggests age, but the tension feels immediate, as if the wires might snap back into place at any moment.
Hang it where light can graze the surface—above a sideboard or between two windows—and watch the shadows shift with the sun.
