Floating Ice on the Seine 02 — Fine Art

Floating Ice on the Seine 02 shows a wide stretch of water with broken shapes drifting near the banks. The surface holds pale blue and grey tones, with small strokes laid over one another.

This fine art print comes on matte paper, so the light greys stay flat under a lamp and the painted water does not catch a shine. The frame is finished in white, wood, dark wood or black, and gives the river scene a clean edge on the wall.

In a kitchen corridor with one narrow window, the ice shapes read first, then the painted strokes appear when you stand a step nearer. On a dark shelf the white frame holds the water tones apart from the shadow behind it.
