Fold 2004

Fold 2004 shows two bands moving across the surface, one darker than the other. The bands pull the eye from one side to the other. The single dark tone sits against the lighter ground and keeps the picture steady. Bridget Riley made the picture.

The fine art finish gives the picture a clean edge. The white frame wraps the bands and separates them from the wall. The white edge does not change the grey tone of the image.

In a bedroom the bands read across the wall near the bed. From the doorway you see the two shapes, and the white edge keeps them clear.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
