Foliage — Fine Art

Green leaves sit against a pale ground in Foliage by Paul Cézanne. The paint breaks into small patches that hold the colour in place. You see the edge of a leaf and the shift from one green to another. The view stays close to the surface of the plants.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The frame finishes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white frame keeps the greens clear and simple against the paper. A black frame gives the leaf edges a firm line.

It fits a kitchen wall above a counter where morning light reaches the leaves. From the table you see the small colour changes. The green tones stay calm against the pale background. You notice the small marks when you stand near the sink.
