Forest — Fine Art

Forest shows a group of trees standing apart under a flat sky. Green tones sit near warm browns, and the tree shapes keep a quiet rhythm across the sheet. Tarsila do Amaral worked in a style that follows the Brazilian modernism movement, with clear forms and a direct sense of place.

The picture is a fine art print on matte paper, so the greens do not shine back under a lamp. You can fit the frame to a wall around you: a light frame on a dark wall, a dark frame on a pale wall, or a wood frame beside wooden furniture.

It works above the door in a kitchen, where the flat colours stay clear from the table and the tree shapes read without effort.
