About this work
Forest Stream Evening by Ivan Shishkin (1871)
Dappled light dances on water in this Ivan Shishkin masterwork. Forest Stream Evening captures nature’s quiet drama, where sunlight and shadow play across a woodland stream.
Shishkin’s precise brushwork renders each leaf and ripple with clarity. The interplay of cool blues and warm greens creates depth, drawing the eye along the winding water. His realism grounds the scene in tangible detail, from textured bark to the soft glow of the evening sky.
This poster brings the outdoors in, ideal for a study or den where contemplation is the goal.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 3 to 6 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.
If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
