Four 1992 — Fine Art

Four stacked blocks sit across the page in Four 1992 by Antoni Tapies. Thick strokes and matte washes cover most of the sheet, with open space kept on the right side. The eye starts at the lower left and moves up through the four forms.

This fine art print uses a frame finish that can follow the room. A light frame on a dark wall makes the pale ground stand out, while a dark frame on a pale wall gives the heavy strokes more weight. The matte finish keeps the greys and earth tones soft under indoor light.
