About this work
Fruit And Flowers
A tabletop still life overflows with color and texture. This is Fruit And Flowers, a celebration of abundance by Maurice de Vlaminck. The composition is a riot of shapes and hues, with each element vying for attention yet contributing to a harmonious whole.
The painting is dominated by a bowl of fruit, surrounded by a profusion of flowers. The colors are bold and unapologetic, with deep reds, bright yellows, and vivid blues creating a sense of energy and movement. The brushstrokes are loose and expressive, adding to the overall dynamism of the piece.
This poster brings life to a kitchen or dining area, where the subject matter can truly shine.
