Frutero Vacio 1976 by Rufino Tamayo places a still life jar on a plain ground. The composition uses solid colour planes and a quiet contrast between the object and its background. Rufino Tamayo built much of his painted work around simplified fruit vessels, soft edges and a calm overall tone.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. The matte surface keeps the soft colour planes even and stops glare from a lamp.
