Ganymede

Ganymede - 1978 uses thin washes of colour that spread across the sheet and soak into the ground. The paint settles in loose pools with soft edges, and the surface stays open. This belongs to the post war abstract colour field practice.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fitted to the back. That hanger goes straight onto a nail or screw. For this title the flat colour areas read clearly because the paper holds no shine.

It fits above a radiator in a narrow hallway where the light falls flat. You notice the thin edges of the painted shapes and the open ground between them.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
