Garden at Issy — Fine Art

Garden at Issy shows a patch of plants and trees set against open paper. The leaves cluster in loose shapes and the empty part of the sheet lets the marks breathe. Henri Matisse worked in bright colour and simple forms during his career, and this picture follows that way of seeing.
