Greenhouse Glut Neapolitan 1987

Greenhouse Glut Neapolitan 1987 runs across the sheet in loose sweeps and broken planes. Blue, green and warm grey mix in uneven patches, with small gaps where the ground shows through. From across the room the colours stay soft, and up close you see the rough edges of each pass.

The matte fine art paper keeps the greys from shining under a lamp. A light frame on a dark wall lets the pale passages stand out without extra glare. A dark frame on a pale wall does the same for the deeper green areas.

It suits a hallway with one shaded wall, hung high so the green band lines up with the edge of a bench. You notice the broken blue marks near the floor first, then the soft white gaps above them.
