Guitar Bottle and Glass 1914 — Fine Art

A guitar, a bottle and a glass sit together on the page. Guitar Bottle and Glass 1914 breaks the three items into clear flat planes and lines. Juan Gris treats each object as a set of angled surfaces that overlap and read one after another. The picture keeps the still life close and plain.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte surface lets the pale planes and sharp edges stay calm, so the lines do not glare under a lamp.

Hang it in a study where you sit at a desk. From the chair you catch the blocky bottle and the curved neck of the guitar, and the glass reads as a plain white shape.
