Haystacks Effect of Snow and Sun by Claude Monet presents stacks of harvested grain standing in a snowy field. Pale sunlight touches the top edges while the lower sides fall into cool shadow. The painted strokes sit close together and leave a grainy surface.

This fine art print comes in a frame with a back panel. The matte finish keeps the snow whites from shining under a lamp, and the frame sets the painted edges off from the surrounding wall.

It fits a narrow landing wall near the front door. You notice the warm light on the stacks first, then the blue shadows at the base as you pass by.
