Hero and Leandro A Painting in Four Parts Part I

Hero and Leandro A Painting in Four Parts Part I uses a pale ground with soft grey and black pencil lines. The lines loop and stop without forming clear shapes. This excerpt from a larger series leaves the reader to fill in the myth.

The print is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface holds the soft greys and keeps the pencil lines from shining under a lamp. The frame sits flat against the wall and the back panel supports the print from behind.

It fits above a long desk where you stand near the edge. From there the grey loops read as a slow gesture and the pale ground stays quiet. You see the small pencil marks when you step closer.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
