Horizontal Line — Fine Art

Horizontal Line by Ellsworth Kelly shows a single hard edge band running across the sheet. The band reads as a solid colour shape cut by a clean boundary, with the rest of the paper kept plain.

From across the room the line holds its place, and up close you notice the flat fill and the tidy edge. The fine art print keeps the mark steady on the paper.

A white frame sets a quiet edge around the line, so the finish sits back and leaves the band open. It sits above a plain desk, where the strong single line reads clearly on first glance and the plain ground stays calm.
