Ice — Fine Art

Ice shows a pale field of grey and white with thin lines of cool tone spread across the sheet. The paint sits in soft layers that blur at the edges, a method Gerhard Richter has used for decades in his abstract work.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte paper holds the pale greys without shine, so the cool tones stay even under a lamp.

It suits a bedroom wall near the window, where morning light falls across the sheet and the grey bands look calm. From the bed you notice the small changes in tone, and the metal hanger stays out of sight behind the print.
