Imp of the Perverse 1927

A dark figure moves through an open space in Imp of the Perverse 1927. The line is steady and the edges stay sharp. Rene Magritte keeps the drawing clean and direct.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. You can choose the ready to hang option and it arrives assembled. The matte surface holds the plain tones without shine.

It fits above a desk in a study room. From the doorway the dark shape reads plainly, while a lamp across the desk picks up the pencil tone.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
