In the Quarry — Fine Art

In the Quarry shows a dry stone ground with a few dark forms set against a muted field. The picture reads as rough ground and a clear sky. Paul Klee draws the scene with thin lines and small colour spots. The marks sit close together so the surface feels worked and uneven.
