Incarnation

Two pale shapes sit beside each other on a quiet ground in Incarnation - 1929. Soft yellow and green meet along a vertical line with a few thin strokes drawn over the centre.

Agnes Lawrence Pelton built these quiet colour passages as part of her wider practice. The fine art print arrives set in a frame with a back panel and is ready to hang when assembled.

The soft yellows stay muted on the matte paper and the green does not shine under a lamp. It reads well on a hallway wall near a coat rack where the pale shapes hold their own against darker coats.
