Indian Lands — Fine Art

Indian Lands by Eyvind Earle uses tall shapes and wide bands of colour. The picture places flat hills and trees against a broad sky. The outlines sit against the colour areas with a clean cut between them. A fine art print keeps those edges sharp on the page.

The white frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. The wood finish sits beside the warm bands in the picture and the black frame sets the bright areas apart. You get one of four finishes and each one changes how the shapes read from a distance.

In a dining room, the long horizontal bands match the line of a table. From the far side of the room you read the big colour blocks first. Closer to the wall the eye catches the thin dark lines between the hills.
