Indicazione — Fine Art

Indicazione - 1964 sits within the later drawing practice of Bice Lazzari, where a few marks on a quiet ground do most of the work.

The sheet leaves open areas around the signs, the way her studies often do, and the small traces carry the sense of a note that is still being worked out. The fine art print keeps that balance between emptiness and a mark.

A metal hanger is fitted to the back and the sheet goes straight onto a nail or screw, so the work hangs as it is without a separate frame. It reads well in a hall corridor near the coat hooks, where the thin signs stay legible above the coats and the quiet ground does not compete with the wood tones.
