Jaundiced Cuckolds Handling Ochre — Fine Art

The title Jaundiced Cuckolds Handling Ochre points to a satirical work by Alphonse Allais. He often drew witty scenes with plain colours and simple shapes. This print follows that habit, using a steady layout and a muted ochre tone that sits quietly on the sheet.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. You get a ready to hang piece with a metal hanger fitted to the back. It goes straight onto a nail or screw, so the picture stays level without a separate frame. That suits the flat look of the image and keeps the surface clear.

It works on a kitchen wall near the sink, where the warm ochre picks up the morning light. From the table you notice the plain shapes and the plain title above them.
