La ricerca del colore — Fine Art

La ricerca del colore - 1968 shows blocks of colour laid out to test how one hue changes next to another. Strong tones sit beside softer tones and the shifts show the order of the search. Dadamaino worked with colour relationships and repeated studies of this sort.

This fine art print uses a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. A clear frame edge keeps the colour blocks set apart so the tones stay separate when you look at the sheet.

On a bedroom wall near a reading lamp the separate colour bands catch the light and the frame edge stays even from the bed.
