Landscape of the Jas de Bouffan — Fine Art

Landscape of the Jas de Bouffan shows a Provencal house and farm buildings set against a broad stretch of sky and ground. The paint sits in separate short strokes that build the roofline and the earth into solid patches of colour.

The fine art frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black and gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. A dark wood frame keeps the cool sky tones separate from the warm ground marks.

On a dining room wall near the table, the house and trees read as a steady block of form. From the doorway across the room you see the broken sky and the low ground holding the weight of the picture.
