Landscape with Red and Yellow — Fine Art

Landscape with Red and Yellow by Raoul Dufy shows a hillside scene drawn in a bold modernist style. Flat bands of red and yellow sit over a green field. The shapes are simple, with quick strokes filling the sky.

The fine art print sits inside a frame that gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. White frames keep the warm colours open. Wood finishes sit closer to the red bands and let the surface feel steady.

A hallway wall with one lamp holds the picture well. From the corridor you see the broad red and yellow shapes first. Step closer and the quick strokes in the sky come into view.
