Landscape with Steer 1937 — Fine Art

Landscape with Steer 1937 shows a wide field with a steer standing in it. The painter worked with poured paint and loose gestures. Browns and greens cover the ground. A dark animal shape sits near the middle.

This fine art print sits on a matte sheet so the rough paint lines stay soft. Hanging it at shoulder height keeps the steer easy to read from the doorway. The frame can pick up wood tones in the room.

The kitchen wall holds it above the counter. When you set down a plate the brown ground and the animal shape stay clear. At the table the pour lines read as small ripples.
