Lavender Bay in the Rain — Fine Art

A shoreline view of Lavender Bay in the Rain sits on a printed sheet with a clear painted surface. The scene uses broad strokes and mixed paint gestures, a habit in the practice of Brett Whiteley. Soft grey and deep green tones build the water and the sky above the houses.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The frame comes in a white, wood, dark wood or black finish and puts a firm line around the image.

It works on the wall beside a reading chair in the study. From the desk you notice the loose painted marks, and from the foot of the stairs you see the full bay and the simple frame line.
