Leonid Afremov by Leonid Afremov — Fine Art

Leonid Afremov uses wet paint laid over a soft ground, with the colours blending where they meet.

The palette leans toward blues and oranges, with a thin band of darker paint along the lower edge. A fine art print keeps those painted edges intact on a matte sheet that does not shine under a lamp.

You can hang it on a pale plaster wall at a mid height, where the light comes from a window beside the door. The frame finish can follow the room, so a light frame sits on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture.
