Leonid Afremov by Leonid Afremov — Fine Art

The title Leonid Afremov points to a painting with thick paint laid on in quick strokes. Bright colours sit next to each other without blending. The marks look like they were made fast, with a brush held close to the canvas.

This fine art print keeps those paint ridges visible on the paper surface. The matte finish stops glare from washing out the bright reds and blues. A light frame on a dark wall lets the colours stay forward without a shine.

On a dining room wall near the serving hatch, the short strokes read clearly from the table. The yellow and orange patches catch the ceiling light at dinner. From the doorway the picture reads as a block of colour first, then the brush marks appear.
