Les Pivoines 1907

Les Pivoines 1907 shows a close-up of peonies painted in strong colour. The petals sit in broad bands of pink and red against a darker ground. Broad colour areas and soft edges are used here. The artist worked in bold colour and simple forms during this period.

The fine art print sits in a frame with a clean edge. White, wood, dark wood and black finishes are available for this print. A white frame keeps the pink tones soft and lets the colour areas read clearly.

Hang this picture above a plain wall in a quiet room. Stand back and the colour bands read as flower heads. Move closer and the painted edges and small shifts in tone come through. The frame edge keeps the image clear on that wall.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
