About this work

Lightning 1944

Lightning 1944 shows a single bright line cutting through a dark field. The line splits the space into two uneven halves. A second mark sits near the lower edge. The scene feels sudden and plain.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. The paper holds the sharp white line without glare under a lamp. The frame gives the image a solid edge.

It works on a hallway wall beside a coat hook. From the stair bottom you read the line first. The dark tone stays calm against the plaster.
