Lilies — Fine Art

Lilies by Gerhard Richter holds soft white and yellow forms against a muted ground. The blooms spread across the sheet without sharp outlines.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. You can read the flower shapes from the far side of a room, and the paint layers stay visible when you step closer. The light does not catch on the surface, so the pale tones stay even under a lamp.

A dark frame on a pale wall keeps the flowers near the centre of the picture. Hang it on a bedroom wall at shoulder height, where the white petals sit above the bed and the quiet background does not pull the eye away.
