About this work

Loch Coruisk and The Cuillins from Elgol

Misty peaks rise above the glassy loch. Loch Coruisk and The Cuillins from Elgol captures the rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands, where the still waters mirror the dramatic sky and the ancient, weathered hills stand firm against time. The painting draws you in with its deep blues and grays, the soft haze of the distant mountains contrasting with the sharp lines of the foreground. The interplay of light and shadow on the water surface creates a sense of tranquility, as if inviting you to step into the scene and breathe in the crisp, cool air. This piece brings a touch of the wild, untamed landscape into any space, making it a perfect fit for a study or a cozy reading nook.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes. This is a stretched canvas, not a rolled or loose print: the image is printed on a cotton-polyester canvas (300 to 350 gsm) and wrapped over FSC-certified wood stretcher bars, 4 cm deep. A hanging kit is included in the box, so no frame, glazing or assembly is needed. Hardware supplied can vary slightly by country depending on which of our ateliers produces your piece.
The canvas is a cotton-polyester blend, 300 to 350 gsm (350 to 400 microns), printed with archival pigment inks and stretched over responsibly sourced, FSC-certified wood stretcher bars. This edition is the 4 cm Thick profile, which gives the piece real presence on the wall and lets it hang cleanly without a frame. The texture of the weave is part of the finish and is visible up close. To clean it, dust gently with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid water, solvents and direct sunlight for long periods. Every canvas is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and nothing sits in a warehouse.
As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.
For your country, this piece is estimated at 4 to 7 business days from the moment you order, on our free tracked Economy service. Express is offered at checkout where available. Every piece is printed at the atelier closest to you, which is why the timing differs by format. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.
