Misure n 31 — Fine Art

Misure n 31 - 1966 by Bice Lazzari sits on the paper with a small group of drawn marks placed off to one side. The rest of the sheet stays open and unpainted, so the eye rests on the empty ground before it finds the shapes.

This fine art print uses a matte paper that does not shine under a lamp. The metal hanger on the back goes straight onto a nail or screw, so the print goes up on the wall without a separate frame to buy. The surface stays flat and the drawn marks read clearly at a normal distance.

It fits a narrow hallway where the wall meets the stairs. From the first step you catch the open paper and the small marks, and as you pass you notice how much space the sheet leaves around them.
