Moonlit Seascape — Fine Art

A dark sky sets the top half of this moonlit seascape above a pale wash of water. Thomas Moran built the scene with layered tones that pull the eye toward the horizon. Gentle ripples run across the surface and the moon sits high, leaving the water quiet and still.
